* CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK * Steeps Fire Cider is an ancient blend of 7 simple natural raw ingredients: Organic turmeric, ginger, chili, garlic, onion & horseradish steeped for 12 weeks in organic apple cider vinegar (ACV). All the ingredients are finely chopped (except the ACV of course) and left to steep in a dark cool place so the magic can happen.
It is based on a traditional herbal remedy used for generations as a simple and effective remedy to ward off colds and flu's, aid digestion, relieve sinus congestion and increase circulation.This powerful cleansing liquid is to be taken daily in the form of a shot and endeavours to keep the bugs at bay and keep you cold free during the year. Stuffed to the rafters with immune-boosting ingredients it is ideal for anyone wanting to stay in tip-top condition.
A daily dose of 10ml per day is all you need to do. Steeps One Shot comes in a glass bottle with a pourer (so no spillage) and for your convenience we have also included a 30ml measuring cup to make it even easier to have your daily shot.

Our Process

first step

1. Harvesting

We work with our suppliers (local mostly) to get the best quality produce in an as enviromentally friendly & responsible manner as possible.

second step

2. Prep

This is basically shredding / cutting all the veggies, adding the herbs, spices, salting and allowing to "sweat". This creates the brine.

third step

3. Fermentation

Now we simply let old father time do his thing. Our purple, yellow and white ones ferment for at least 4 weeks. The red one is slightly different, it ferments in about 10 days.

final step

4. Jarring

For our sauerkrauts, we taste test from about 3 weeks into fermentation, for the Kimchi, we check around the 7 day mark. Once we believe our ferment has reached the right flavour and consistency, we jar them and refrigerate. This slows down fermentation and preserves it, ready to be shipped to you and your soon to be thankful tummy.
